Griffco pulsation dampeners are designed to deliver continuous chemical dosage at the injection point. They create an area of low pressure in the system to absorb the energy of the pulse wave created by a positive displacement pump, reducing harmful shock waves and producing fluid flow up to 99% free of vibration and pulsation.

Placed on the discharge side of the pump, the dampener allows laminar flow downstream. On the inlet side it acts as an inlet or suction stabiliser, reducing inlet shock, acceleration head losses and inlet cavitation. Placed next to a valve or accessory that restricts flow, it works as a suction accumulator or surge suppressor.
