Klor Yıkayıcı (Scrubber)
Chlorine scrubber for caustic neutralisation of escaping chlorine
The chlorine scrubber is a safety system that extracts any chlorine leaking into the chlorine gas room and neutralises it with caustic soda solution. In the event of a leak the room air is drawn into the scrubbing column by a fan; the chlorine reacts with the caustic to form a harmless salt solution and only clean air is released to atmosphere.
Single-stage and two-stage versions are available, the two-stage systems offering higher neutralisation efficiency. The LJ Neutra 200 and 500 models are selected according to the size of the room housing the chlorine drums. The system is designed for use with temperature-stable caustic soda solution.
