Çift Diyafram Sistemi

The double-diaphragm system increases safety by using two diaphragms in series in the dosing head. If the first (process side) diaphragm ruptures, the chemical is retained by the second diaphragm and the resulting pressure change in the intermediate space is detected by a monitoring device.

This arrangement is preferred for dosing toxic and highly aggressive chemicals where leakage is unacceptable. When the alarm is raised the pump is stopped and the diaphragm replaced — the fault is dealt with before any process liquid escapes.
