Pislik Tutucu (Filtre)

For safety reasons pumps in general, and metering pumps in particular, should be fitted with a dirt trap in the suction pipe. The dirt trap prevents floating elements and fluff from blocking the valve function.

It can also be used for the motive water supply of a chlorination plant: if the ejector is fed directly with motive water without other fittings, a dirt trap must be provided (for example combined with a pressure reducer). Stainless steel and plastic versions are available. Note: the dirt trap must be assembled so that accumulated dirt cannot fall back into the pipe when it is dismantled.
