Chemical motor block pump MB with mechanical seal
MB motor block pumps are horizontal, single-stage plastic centrifugal pumps. Developed for the requirements of the chemical industry, they are suited to pumping pure or solids-containing, acid or alkaline, low-viscosity liquids.
The extended shaft of the drive motor carries the impeller directly and the pump head is flanged to the motor with an intermediate piece. This block design needs no separate coupling or baseplate, saving space and eliminating alignment work. As the wetted materials are physiologically harmless, the pump can also be used in the food industry. Sealing is by a single-acting, internal B2I mechanical seal.
