KARDOS N

KARDOS stands for a group of precision dosing pumps developed for applications with a high demand for accuracy, reliability and flexibility in a wide performance range. The symmetrically designed gearbox of the KARDOS N allows the arrangement of 2 dosing heads on the same level and the stacking of three heads above one another, thus enabling a maximally 6-head pump. Each head is 100% adjustable independently; a speed adjustment of the main drive acts on all heads simultaneously while the relative volume ratios remain unchanged.

Stainless steel dosing heads allow operating pressures of up to 400 bar and plastic heads up to 10 bar; with flow rates of up to 4400 l/h the pump is also used for abrasive media such as lime slurry. The drive consists of an oil-filled worm gear with single-stage reduction and a radially displaceable cam; the stroke length can be varied linearly from 0 to 100% during operation. Besides the standard 3-phase motor, variable DC and explosion-proof motors as well as electrical remote stroke adjustment (ATE) are available.
